"Sardine Fishing Boat" Unframed Lino print
This lino print of a traditional Cornish fishing boat is a portrait of a boat that fishes very successfully out of Mevagissey Harbour by a friend of mine. We've met several times both socially and on the quayside through my other half who is involved in the fishing industry.
All my prints are printed using traditional linseed oil based relief printing inks and are hand burnished with a wooden spoon. This means they will vary slightly from the picture shown in areas such as the sky and the areas around the sea which may or may not have more marks from the inked-up lino. This is a natural product of the printing process and means that every print is unique and special.
The print which can be printed in black or dark blue measures 230 x 190 mm and is printed on paper measuring 210 x 297 mm meaning that it fits comfortably within an off the shelf A4 mount or frame leaving an ample white boarder. This print will need to be hung landscape.
I often have one of these prints to hand, but if not I'll need to print you one. The ink can take up to 7 days to dry, so please take this into consideration when ordering.
The print is supplied "naked", no frame or mount. It will arrive sandwiched in brown card in a document envelope to keep it safe.
