"St Michael's Mount" lino-print features the imposing iconic Cornish landmark in Marizion, near Penzance Cornwall. The intricate detail of the causeway leads the eye naturally to the beautiful monument.

All my prints are printed using traditional linseed oil based relief printing inks and are hand burnished with a wooden spoon. This means they will vary slightly from the picture shown in areas such as the sky and the sea either side of the causeway which may or may not have more marks from the inked-up lino. This is a natural product of the printing process and means that every print is unique and special.

I carved this lino, last year while trading in the beautiful Harbourside town of Porthleven, just along the coast from St. Michael's mount. Later in the year, my man and I woke up to this view the day after our wedding, so it's very special to us.

The print which can be printed in black or dark blue measures 192 x 230 mm and is printed on paper measuring 210 x 297 mm meaning that it fits comfortably within an off the shelf A4 mount or frame leaving an ample white boarder. With this print however, the shape of the lower part of the print does lend itself to a custom cut mount so the mount hugs the base of the causeway. If you're unsure of what I mean, ping me a message!

I often have one of these prints to hand, but if not I'll need to print you one. The ink can take up to 7 days to dry, so please take this into consideration when ordering.

The print is supplied "naked", no frame or mount. It will arrive sandwiched in brown card in a document envelope to keep it safe.
