"Cornish Harbour" Unframed Lino print
This small lino-print features a traditional Cornish town, inspired by the most southerly The print features an array of cheerful houses and town clock tower perched on a hillside. Seagulls grace the sky and a range of boats bob within the curved harbour walls.
All my prints printed using traditional linseed oil based relief printing inks and are hand burnished with a wooden spoon. This means they will vary slightly from the picture shown in areas such as the sky which may or may not have more marks from the inked-up lino. This is a natural product of the printing process and means that every print is unique and special.
I carved this lino, last year while trading alongside the beautiful harbour, watching the tide ebb and flow as the days passed. The print has been so popular that I created a very big version (featured on. my "big prints" page) which I have also had printed as a tea-towel.
The print which can be printed in black or dark blue measures 153 x 210 mm and is printed on paper measuring 210 x 297 mm meaning that it fits comfortably within an off the shelf A4 mount or frame leaving an ample white boarder.
I often have one of these prints to hand, but if not I'll need to print you one. The ink can take up to 7 days to dry, so please take this into consideration when ordering.
The print is supplied "naked", no frame or mount. It will arrive sandwiched in brown card in a document envelope to keep it safe.
